Job Description

Master Data team in GSC is supporting multiple business units and locations, working with all finance GSC Teams, responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, improving operational effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s performance, resolving problems and developing the team.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Master Data processes, regularly updating expertise using the latest manuals and acting as a subject-matter resource for the team.
  • Lead and support the full process of supplier creation and updates.
  • Ensure the accurate creation and maintenance of supplier profiles.
  • Contact suppliers via email and phone to verify bank details and resolve complex issues.
  • Update financial system data in alignment with company policies, ensuring high data quality.
  • Perform all activities within agreed timelines and proactively mitigate risks of delays.
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation across the Master Data area.
  • Handle complex customer requests and queries, providing advanced issue resolution.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers, acting as an escalation point.
  • Ensure full compliance with company standards, guidelines, and audit requirements.
  • Support the Team Leader with daily operational and strategic tasks.
  • Mentor and support Junior and Mid-level Analysts in their development.
  • Prepare monthly reports for Referrals Origination and Data Management scopes.
  • Process complex ad-hoc requests related to the Master Data area.

About you

  • Very good English skills required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance, preferable in the billing area in the shared service or BPO environment.
  • University degree (preferable in accounting) or students/graduates able to work full time.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with customers (customer focus, expectations management skills).
  • Ability to work in international diversified professional environment. Willingness to learn new systems and tools supporting the daily work.
  • Thorough understanding of finance processes and respective control framework.
  • Problem solving, priority setting, planning, delegation, directing others, managing and evaluating work capabilities.
