
We are looking for an experienced Finance & Operations Manager for Ebb Studios working closely with Kepler Interactive.
Ebb Software is an independent game development studio based in Belgrade, Serbia, best known for creating Scorn, the critically acclaimed first-person horror adventure who balance co-development work with internal prototyping for new original titles. Recent co-development contributions include working on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the Game of the Year in 2025.
Ebb Software is part of Kepler Interactive, a London-headquartered independent games publisher and developer collective with published titles that include Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Rematch, Scorn, Pacific Drive, and many more.

Reporting to Kepler’s Senior Group Finance Manager and working closely with Ebb’s Head of Production
Location: Onsite - Belgrade studio
The Finance and Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day financial and operational activities of the studio. The responsibilities are set out below.
Finance
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the parent company (Kepler Interactive), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Execute and manage all bank payments, including salaries, suppliers, taxes, rent, and equipment purchases.
Prepare invoices for co-development work, and draft and track the validity of all related Statements of Work.
Lead budgeting, financial planning, and overhead calculations for projects.
Prepare statutory annual reports, including the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statement, Transfer Pricing report, and Annual Corporate Profit Tax return.
Liaise with external legal counsel and work with Kepler’s legal team on corporate, commercial, and employment law matters as required.
Operations
Oversee facilities management – track rent and related expenses, and act as the main point of contact with the office space provider.
Manage procurement of IT equipment, software licenses, consumables (coffee, beverages, cleaning and office supplies), and other quality-of-life items for the studio.
Administer the studio's HR management software, including maintenance of public holidays, leave balances, leave accruals, and employee records.
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including explaining legal and administrative implications to new hires and coordinating mandatory social security registrations and removals.
Manage the private health insurance contract, including negotiations with the provider and the addition or removal of employees from the scheme.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5–10 years of relevant professional experience in a finance role.
Recognised professional accounting certification is required, issued by the Serbian Association of Accountants and Auditors (SRRS), or an internationally equivalent such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
Strong technical knowledge of Serbian legislation, such as the Serbian Accounting Law, Corporate Income Tax Law, VAT regulations, Transfer Pricing rules, Labor Law
Proven experience handling annual statutory audits, multi-currency accounting, and end-to-end payroll processing.
Proven experience working within companies that operate globally
Experience as a standalone finance/ operations manager in a fast pace start up environment is a plus
Experience in the video games industry is a plus; a genuine interest in the video games industry is a must.
Full professional fluency in both Serbian and English, written and spoken.
