This is a hands-on role for a finance professional who has mastered the fundamentals and is ready to take broader ownership within a growing, multi-location organization. The Finance Operations Manager will ensure leadership has accurate, timely, and actionable financial information while improving consistency and discipline across budgeting, forecasting, cash management, reporting, and financial operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain studio-level and consolidated P&L reporting.
  • Prepare budget-to-actual reporting and provide clear variance analysis and commentary.
  • Monitor revenue, labor, operating expenses, EBITDA, cash contribution, and other key financial KPIs.
  • Identify financial trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps and communicate actionable insights to leadership.
  • Provide the CEO with recurring financial reports and clear insights into overall business performance.
  • Partner with Studio Leaders, Regional Leaders, the Director of Operations, and other operational leaders to improve financial performance.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling financial forecasts throughout the year.
  • Develop and maintain a practical 13-week cash forecast.
  • Maintain visibility into cash balances, upcoming obligations, and liquidity requirements.
  • Build scenario models to support operational, investment, and growth decisions.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Coordinate payment workflows, approvals, and recurring financial obligations.
  • Maintain schedules for debt, capital expenditures, rent, royalties, taxes, and other major obligations.
  • Coordinate routine lender reporting, banking administration, and financial information requests.
  • Maintain organized financial records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate the monthly close process with StriveWell's external accounting partner.
  • Review monthly financial statements and investigate inconsistencies, discrepancies, and unexpected variances.
  • Work with external accounting partners to resolve coding, classification, and reporting issues.
  • Maintain day-to-day administration and organization of QuickBooks or other financial systems.
  • Build and maintain financial and operational dashboards across the StriveWell portfolio.
  • Connect financial results with operational metrics, including memberships, leads, sales, retention, utilization, labor, and studio performance.
  • Develop studio-level reporting and financial benchmarks that provide operational leaders with greater visibility into performance.
  • Build financial models for new studios, business initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities.
  • Support evaluation of new locations and expansion opportunities.
  • Prepare financial analysis and recommendations for the CEO to support business and capital allocation decisions.
  • Organize financial information required for refinancing, acquisitions, investments, due diligence, and other strategic transactions.
  • Partner with external finance professionals on complex modeling, financing, due diligence, and transaction-related work.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen financial processes, reporting consistency, controls, and overall financial discipline across entities and locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to independently own recurring financial responsibilities with limited oversight.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to investigate financial discrepancies and identify practical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial leaders.
  • Business-minded approach with the ability to translate financial information into actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks or a similar accounting system.
  • Experience supporting multiple business entities, brands, or locations.
  • Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, franchising, or another multi-location consumer business.
  • Experience developing financial and operational dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Experience supporting business expansion, new locations, investments, or strategic financial initiatives.

Work Environment / Schedule

  • Full-time position supporting StriveWell and its portfolio of health and wellness brands, including SWTHZ and STRONG Pilates.
  • Works closely with the CEO, operational leadership, external accounting partners, and strategic finance professionals.
  • Operates in a growing, multi-brand and multi-location business environment.
