Job Summary The Finance Operations role supports accurate transaction processing, working-capital control, reporting, and audit readiness across sales, inventory, and departmental finance activities. The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cost control, regulatory compliance, cash flow management, and financial risk oversight. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in supporting executive decision-making, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving profitability across fleet and corporate operations. Key Responsibilities Ensure the timely invoicing of vehicle sales and perform monthly reconciliation of receivables. Maintain the General Ledger and prepare monthly reports covering inventory, receivables, and departmental budgets. Support robust working-capital management and review balance-sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy. Supervise monthly inventory counts across all centers. Participate in annual statutory and tax audits and provide the required supporting documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional certification (ICAN, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required. 3 –7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. 3 to 7 years of experience in finance operations or a related field. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is essential. Strong understanding of financial processes and operations management, with proficiency in data analysis and financial modelling. its operations in 2013 following a pact signed with Guangzhou Group
Automobile Group Co., (GAC Motor) to establish and manage
distribution networks in Nigeria and subsequently Africa.
CIG Motors Co., Ltd started with the introduction of 2 major models;
the GA3 Saloon and GS5 SUV models of GAC Motor; with a subsequent
introduction of 3 more models in 2016 and 2017. As at date, CIG Motors
