Primary duties, responsibilities and accountabilities:

Capture all
financial transactions at the end of the month.
·
Post all Financial
documents and transactions to SAP before payment.
·
Fund all General
Ledger balances on SAP
·
Processing of
vendor payments upon review of invoices and other supporting documentations
·
Reviewing and
processing of staff advance request as well as settlement of advance retirement
·
Ensure correct postings
on SAP by using the proper cost assignments-GL, IO and CC
Area 2: Budget Review and Monitoring
·
Coordinate, review
and monitor projects’ budgets.
·
Develop procedures
for monitoring and analyzing of budgets that allows accurate projection of
expenditures and comparisons of actual and budgeted spending.
·
Analysis of budget
against the actual expenditure in order to measure variances.
·
Prepare variance
analysis and indicate areas where expenditure deviates from the budget.
Area 3: Preparation and Submission of
Bank Reconciliation Statements
·
Monthly
reconciliation of bank balances with cash book.
·
Recognition of
inflows and return payments on SAP.
·
Printing, signing
and proper filing of bank reconciliation reports.
·
Submission of Bank
Reconciliations to Internal Control
Area 4: Preparation of Financial Reports
·
Prepare
and submit donor financial statements and reports as at when due.
·
Prepare
and submit quarterly Annual Operating Budget.
·
Prepare
and submit burn rate on a monthly basis.
·
Prepare
management account and other kinds of report as may be required by the
management.
Education:
·
BSc
/ HND Accounting or related field (with cognate working experience).
Professional Certification like ACA, ACCA is an added advantage
Experience
·
A minimum of four (4) years’ post-NYSC work experience in the accounting and finance role
·
Demonstrated
ability from previous experience to perform and relate very well with
accounting terms and procedures.
Technical Job-Specific Skills:

Computer Literacy

Good knowledge of applications like SAP and Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Outlook, etc
·
Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting
Standard (IFRS)

Good knowledge of Regulatory remittances
