  • Assist with processing of accounts payable including supplier invoices, payment runs, bank reconciliations and supplier queries
  • Support the Head of Finance and wider finance team with ad hoc tasks, projects and stakeholder enquiries

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years' experience in a payroll and/or finance/accounts environment
  • Strong numerical aptitude and confidence working with financial and payroll calculations, reconciliations and data analysis
  • Proven ability to identify anomalies and investigate financial and payroll variances with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of Australian awards and payroll legislation, including payroll tax, superannuation, statutory reporting and general accounting standards
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting critical finance and payroll deadlines
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience using Employment Hero (or similar payroll systems) and accounting software such as MYOB AccountRight

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Fair Work compliance and industry-specific awards
  • Previous payroll or finance experience within the early learning/childcare sector

This position is offered on a part-time or full-time basis with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Flexible work from home options are also available.
