The Opportunity

The role of the Finance Officer involves providing financial and administrative support to colleagues, clients and stakeholders of the business. This role will support to all areas of the business from bookkeeping to coordinating travel and event management and administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel, accommodation and flight bookings.
  • Monitor and replenish stationery, office and kitchen supplies.
  • Assist with coordination activities for various people processes as required, including inductions, mobilisations and uniform orders.
  • Update and continuously improve the Company's intranet.
  • General filing and record keeping.
  • Plan and coordinate workplace events as required.
  • Provide timesheet and leave administration, payroll, bookkeeping and invoicing assistance as required.
  • Provide document control support as required.
  • Provide project control administrative support as required.
  • Account receivables and payables activities and tasks.
  • Generation of invoices.
  • Project control administrative support.
  • Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.

Qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sound time management.
  • Professional presentation.
  • Sharp time management skills.
  • Strong ethics, with a capability to manage confidential data.
