Reap is a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong with employees across multiple countries. We enable financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide by combining traditional finance with stablecoins for efficient money movement.
Through our stablecoin-powered corporate cards, payments, and expense management tools, we streamline financial operations and help businesses scale. Our APIs enable businesses to integrate stablecoin-enabled finance into their own products and services—from issuing Visa cards to facilitating cross-border payments.
Backed by leading investors including Acorn Pacific, Index Ventures and HashKey Capital, Reap is building the future of borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance.
Reap operates at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, with multiple business lines — card issuing (CaaS), payments (Reap Pay), expense management (Reap Direct), and partner card programs (CPMaaS) — running across entities in a multi-jurisdictional environment. This creates a reporting environment that is genuinely complex and technically interesting.
This is not a role where you inherit a polished reporting pack and maintain it. You will own the end-to-end financial reporting for one of Reap's business lines, building the processes, reconciliations, and reporting frameworks from the ground up. You will work directly with the data — writing SQL, reconciling across systems, and turning raw transaction data into accurate financials that leadership and auditors can rely on.
If you want deep ownership over a business line's numbers and the freedom to design how reporting should work, this is the role.
Own end-to-end financial reporting for a designated business line, from transaction capture through to month-end close and management reporting. You are the single point of accountability for the accuracy and completeness of your business line's financials.
Drive the monthly close process for your business line, including journal entry preparation and review, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance sheet substantiation.
Build and maintain reconciliations between source and the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Develop and automate reporting workflows, leveraging SQL and data tools to extract, transform, and load financial data. Reduce manual effort and improve the speed and reliability of the close cycle.
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation in compliance with IFRS, particularly for complex transaction types involving multi-currency flows, stablecoin settlements, interchange, and fee structures.
Prepare management reports and analysis for your business line, providing insights on performance trends, margin drivers, and variances against forecast and prior periods.
Support external audit and regulatory requirements by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and maintaining documentation that meets PwC audit standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations, FP&A) to understand business changes, new product launches, and their accounting implications. Ensure financial reporting keeps pace with the business.
Strengthen internal controls and standard operating procedures for your business line's reporting processes, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance.
CPA (or equivalent) qualified, with 4 to 7 years of practical experience in accounting or financial reporting, ideally with a mix of public accounting and industry.
Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS, with the ability to research and apply standards to novel transaction types.
Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large datasets across multiple systems. You don't just review reports — you build the queries that generate them.
Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with month-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to trace discrepancies across systems and resolve them systematically.
Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of outcomes. You don't wait to be told what needs fixing.
Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to document processes and explain financial results clearly.
Experience in fintech, payments, or digital assets / cryptocurrency accounting.
Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift) and BI tools (Metabase or similar).
Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency reporting environments.
Exposure to group consolidation processes and intercompany accounting.
Experience with automation tools or scripting (Python, Excel VBA) for financial reporting workflows.

A modern finance stack: SQL, data warehouses, APIs, and automation are part of the everyday toolkit.
