WHO YOU ARE

The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role within Business Finance - Management Reporting, Planning & Analysis (MRPA). Being a Senior MIS Analyst in the team, this role is responsible for driving the Bank's MIS methodology, governance, analytical capabilities, and performance management frameworks. Working closely with senior business, finance, and technology leaders, the incumbent will transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, business growth, productivity improvement, and forecasting activities.

The role entails working closely with a team of MIS professionals and serves as the key steward of management information, ensuring robust data governance, reporting integrity, and continuous enhancement of MIS capabilities through digital innovation and automation.

Main Duties

  • Partner closely with the Head of MRPA and senior executives to shape strategic business decisions through data-driven insights, performance analytics, and forward-looking management information frameworks and activities such as forecasting and planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business and finance leadership on growth, profitability, productivity and efficiency initiatives. Present key analytical findings, financial insights, and business performance updates to senior management, providing recommendations that support executive decision-making.
  • Finance business partner to Front Office leadership, Business Management, and key stakeholders across the Bank, challenging assumptions, influencing decisions, and driving accountability through analytical insights and performance transparency.
  • Define and drive the Bank's MIS strategy, roadmap, and governance framework, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation objectives. Participate in projects and new implementations that have an impact to MIS and reporting requirements.
  • Working lead on transformation capabilities by leveraging automation, data visualisation, advanced analytics, and emerging AI-enabled solutions to enhance management reporting effectiveness and decision support.
  • Accountable for MIS data governance, ensuring the integrity, consistency, and transparency of management information provided to senior management. Establish robust controls, challenge data quality issues, and oversee remediation efforts across stakeholder groups.
  • Develop and inspire a team of MIS professionals, foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, talent development, and delivery excellence.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance or related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in MIS, business finance, performance management, business analytics, or financial planning and analysis within the banking or financial services industry. Experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence strategic business outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and present complex analytical concepts in a concise and impactful manner.
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), automation initiatives, and digital transformation programmes.
  • Experience in driving organisation-wide process improvements, system implementations, or large-scale reporting transformation initiatives.
