Judit Inc. is hiring on behalf of one of our largest clients — a global technology leader in consumer electronics, semiconductors, and mobile communications. This is a temporary, contract position: you’ll be employed by Judit Inc. and work directly alongside our client’s team.

What you’ll do

You’ll own the finance side of the company’s sales deduction and marketing development fund (MDF) programs, the money spent with retail and channel partners on promotions and marketing. You’ll run month-end close for these programs and serve as the SAP expert for the sales deduction and MDF modules. You’ll also partner with sales and marketing teams to improve how the process works.

• Support the SAP sales deduction (SD) and MDF modules: project management, troubleshooting, master data management, and end-user training
• Review marketing and sales deduction investment activity
• Submit accurate accruals for investment activity during month-end close
• Own month-end close and the closing report, including account reconciliation, the sales deduction roll-forward, and forecast variance
• Produce management and internal reporting on marketing and sales deduction transactions
• Review marketing and sales deduction expense forecasts for reasonableness and support the forecast process
• Lead business owners and work closely with sales account and marketing teams to gather requirements, analyze information, and build solutions that fit business strategy
• Support quarterly and year-end internal and external audits on time
• Process and validate customer and vendor payments tied to sales and marketing programs
• Train marketing and sales teams on the process
• Lead process-improvement projects for marketing and sales deduction expenses: evaluate current processes and build the improvement plan

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 8–10 years of related experience
• SAP experience
• Accounting and month-end close experience
• Experience reviewing and analyzing business processes, including financial and operational analysis and audits
• Proficiency in Excel
• Financial analysis and budget forecasting skills
