WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Due to the strategic realignment of Surventis, a dedicated finance organization is being established. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the local finance function from its foundation. We are looking for a local Finance Manager in São Paulo and surrounding region, that will act as the central local finance contact for Brazil.

• In your new role, you are the communication point between the business units, the third-party business process provider (BPO) and Corporate Accounting
• You ensure that country-specifics such as local Brazilian GAAP, IFRS and local tax laws are correctly reflected in the local financial statements
• You act as the local caretaker for accounting, taking responsibility for local balance sheet & P&L
• We expect clear ownership of all local E2E processes, maintaining high-quality standards in the region and being the primary person for compliance-related topics

WHAT YOU OFFER

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; additional certifications such as CMA, CPA or local Contador Público are an advantage
• Several years of work experience combining Accounting and in a multinational corporation
• Experience in industry, particularly during transitions or carve-outs, is highly beneficial
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Management Accounting processes, local GAAP, IFRS and process optimization methodologies
• Proficiency in SAP R/3 and S/4, BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SAC), process mapping tools, and advanced MS Office skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment
• An active CPA certification is a prerequisite for this role
• Fluency in English
