The Finance Manager, as cash and cost custodian, partners with Global Supply Chain and Group Finance to deliver enterprise and functional key objectives.
From time to time, the incumbent will also work on scenario modelling, analysis and projects to provide insightful analysis for decision making by the senior management function in Dyson.
This role reports into the Head of Finance, Group Operations Finance.
About the Role
Trusted business partner to Global Supply Chain, Group Finance to embed and strengthen IBP process and planning outcome
Spearhead and establish operations and financial performance review cadence with stakeholders
Lead KPIs review and reporting, being one source of truth across the organisation
Deep understanding in operations, demand and supply risks and opportunities, translate to financials implication to drive profitability and cashflow optimization
Strong controlling mindset to drive governance and influence cost conscious culture through cross functional collaboration
Lead projects and business case modelling to optimize cost, cash and maximise investments
Provide timely, accurate, insightful management reporting and analysis
Drive transformational projects and portfolio rationalization, review of key processes to drive continuous improvement
Develop strong relationship with key stakeholders and senior executive partners, acting as a key point of contact for financial risks and opportunities
Build capabilities, attract, grow and retain talents
About You
Qualified Accountant or equivalent post graduate qualification
At least 8 years of relevant work experience
Experience and knowledge in S&OP and financial KPIs
Experience in rigorous financial analysis and comfortable with large database
Ability to understand concepts and ideas quickly and model data in meaningful ways
Embrace changes and transformation, proven track record in establishing new finance process and governance
Energetic, engaging, growth mindset, comfortable working in matrix organisation and challenging status quo
Naturally inquisitive - comfortable and willing to interrogate existing process and systems
Proactive in proposing ideas to challenge status quo
Excellent personal and business presentation skills, in particular the presentation of financial information to non-finance managers and directors
Assertive and able to influence upwards and across functions
