Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager – Fuel, you’ll work with senior stakeholders across Operations, Treasury, Sustainability and Procurement, providing insight, challenge and decision support that helps drive performance and long-term value.“This is a unique opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of fuel, from the operational drivers that influence fuel burn to the cost impacts of jet fuel prices, hedging and regulation. You’ll also work closely with experts across the airline to assess opportunities to optimise flight-planning efficiency. The team combines strong financial rigour with a collaborative approach and works closely with operational experts across the airline.
What you'll be doingYou’ll be the key finance business partner for Fuel and Navigation, providing insight, challenge and decision support across two of easyJet’s most material cost areas.You’ll lead planning, forecasting and performance reporting, ensuring assumptions are robust and stakeholders have a clear view of performance, risks and opportunities.You’ll translate complex drivers - including fuel prices, FX, carbon costs, regulation and operational performance - into clear financial recommendations.You’ll support business cases, optimisation initiatives and strategic decisions through robust analysis, modelling and commercial challenge.What we're looking forYou’re an experienced finance professional with strong business partnering skills and the confidence to challenge constructively at a senior level.
You can interpret complex commercial, operational and regulatory information and translate it into meaningful financial insight.
You bring strong planning, forecasting and analytical capability, alongside excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
