Our common goal
You will act as a trusted business partner to the Managing Director of Artek oy ab and contribute to the sustainable success of Artek in Finland In this role, you will ensure financial transparency, operational reliability, and compliance across finance, HR, and warehouse operations, while supporting informed business decisions and long-term value creation. As a member of the management team, you will help strengthen the foundation for profitable growth and efficient collaboration across the organization.

What you can expect

  • Sparring partner to the MD/Market Leader
  • responsible for financial, legal, and fiscal topics
  • Manage month- and year-end closings
  • Ensure efficiency and transparency across all processes
  • Monitor key performance metrics
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting process
  • Oversee liquidity planning
  • Liaise with external partners and authorities
  • Ensure compliance with laws and internal policies
  • Manage warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Responsible for stock taking
  • Member role in Artek oy’s management team
  • Support HR partners, controllers and logistic managers in Finland
  • Main role is within Artek oy, but you also support a-factory (Vitra Operations, plant that produces all Aalto furniture) and Artek Foundation

How you convince

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar finance or controlling role, ideally within an international environment.
  • Strong analytical and methodological skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work and a high affinity for process optimization.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Jeeves (SAP SD, FI is a plus), and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (ideally Power BI or XLCubed) is an advantage.
  • Communication skills and assertiveness, with the ability to provide clear, fact-based guidance to support decision-making.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge in German and Swedish is a plus.
  • You are motivated to grow with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • You have experience from hybrid teams and know how to inspire across cultures and disciplines
