Company Background

We are currently partnering with a well-established F&B group, recognized for its premium dining concepts and banquet services. They are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to be based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations of the company. This role works closely with the Chief Financial Officer to drive financial strategy, ensure accurate reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and strategic thinking. Experience in hospitality or F&B will be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability
• Oversee full set of accounts, including timely closing and balance sheet reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and authorities on financial matters
• Implement and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Manage cash flow, banking, and treasury functions
• Collaborate with department heads to control costs and improve margins
• Drive process improvements and oversee financial systems
• Lead and develop the finance team

Cost Control (F&B):

• Monitor food and beverage cost and identify wastage trends
• Work closely with operations on inventory, stock movement, and variance analysis
• Review stock take results and investigate discrepancies
• Implement and enforce cost control measures and SOPs
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA) is required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience in handling full set of accounts and multi-outlet operations is preferred
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
