
Role Summary The Project Manager – Financial Services will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of financial services engagements for Murkez’s U.S.-based clients. This role requires a Chartered Accountant with strong hands-on experience leading teams delivering finance, accounting, and financial operations services in an outsourced or managed services environment. The role is delivery-focused and client-facing, with full ownership of project execution, timelines, resource planning, quality control, and issue resolution. The Project Manager will act as the single point of contact for assigned clients and ensure that all deliverables meet agreed SLAs, regulatory expectations, and client quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Execution • Own end-to-end delivery of financial services projects from client onboarding through steady-state operations and closure. • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation. • Actively track execution to ensure deliverables, KPIs, and SLAs are met. • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality of all financial deliverables. • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously. Client Management • Serve as the primary and sole point of contact for assigned U.S.-based clients. • Lead onboarding, kick-off calls, and operational reviews. • Communicate project status, risks, and performance metrics. • Build long-term, trust-based client relationships. Risk & Escalation Management • Identify delivery risks and operational bottlenecks. • Develop mitigation plans and manage escalations. • Escalate critical risks to senior leadership when required. Team Leadership & Coordination • Lead and manage finance and accounting teams. • Drive accountability and performance discipline. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders. Process & Documentation • Maintain project documentation and governance artifacts. • Ensure adherence to internal controls and quality standards. • Identify process improvements. Requirements Qualifications & Experience • Chartered Accountant (mandatory). • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with tools such as Power BI is a plus. • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements. • Minimum 10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields. • Proven experience delivering financial services for U.S.-based clients. • Strong working knowledge of the U.S. tax code, including federal and state-level tax concepts, compliance requirements, and filing timelines. • Prior experience as a single point of contact. Shift Time: Monday to Friday 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST)
