Job Description

Build a modern, AI-first Group Finance function and operate as the CFO’s right hand.

Axo Group is a fast-growing pan-Nordic scale-up with operations across all Nordic capitals and a broad portfolio of financial products. We are building a future-proof finance function designed for scale, speed and performance.

We are now hiring a Finance Manager to take a key Group-level role, working closely with the Group CFO and top management. This is a high-impact position for someone who combines strong financial craftsmanship with commercial judgement, and who thrives in a high-tempo environment where execution matters.

You will help ensure we stay compliant, structured and in control while also improving decision-making, profitability and operational performance across the Group.

What you will own

  • Group-level reporting and performance insights that drive decisions and outcomes

  • Decision support to senior management, with focus on profitability, growth and efficiency

  • Tax, duties/VAT and compliance across multiple Nordic jurisdictions

  • Transfer pricing, including documentation, assessments and coordination across countries

  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling, built for speed and accuracy

  • Standardisation and automation of finance processes, using data, AI and modern tooling

  • Close collaboration with local finance teams and stakeholders across the Nordics

What we expect from you

You are the type of finance professional who delivers high-quality work fast — and who doesn’t stop at reporting. You turn numbers into insight, and insight into action.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Higher education in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • Relevant experience from audit, consulting, corporate finance or group finance

  • Strong competence in tax, VAT/duties and transfer pricing

  • Strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset

  • Advanced Excel skills and solid experience with Power BI

  • A practical, AI-first approach to finance — using automation and tooling to improve speed, quality and impact

  • The ability to work structured, independently and cross-border

Who you are

  • Outcome-driven: you care about results, not activity

  • Hyper-operational: you execute with pace, precision and hands-on ownership

  • Straight-shooter: you communicate clearly, escalate early, and keep standards high

  • You enjoy working close to senior decision-makers and being accountable for critical deliverables

  • You thrive in a scale-up environment with growth, complexity and change, and you stay calm under pressure

What we offer

  • A central, visible role in a pan-Nordic Group

  • High influence and close partnership with the Group CFO

  • Real responsibility and the opportunity to operate as a key finance leader and deputy

  • A finance organisation built for scale, with strong ambition in AI, automation and performance management

  • Competitive compensation, flexibility, and strong development opportunities
