We’re Hiring | Finance Manager
Location: Baghdad, Iraq
Industry: Food Production / Manufacturing
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a well-established food manufacturing company in Baghdad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s finance and accounting activities and supervise the finance team.
- Manage annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial planning.
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports and management reports.
- Monitor costs, profitability, margins, and overall financial performance.
- Oversee factory costing, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and cost control.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and working capital.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions.
- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Support the effective use and improvement of ERP and accounting systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with solid experience in a managerial or senior finance role.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial analysis, and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing finance.
- Previous experience managing or supervising a finance/accounting team.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong Excel, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to senior management.
Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience in food production, FMCG, manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, or distribution will be highly preferred.
Candidates with direct experience in food manufacturing, factory finance, costing, and inventory management are particularly encouraged to apply.
