Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a senior, hands-on finance leadership role with genuine scope to make an impact across a growing, multi-site healthcare business. Reporting to the Finance Leader, you will take broad ownership of Beneco's finance function, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate and timely reporting, disciplined cash flow management, and the quality of financial insight needed to support sound business decisions.

Beneco is in a growth phase, and the Finance Manager will play a meaningful role in that journey, including supporting transaction analysis, due diligence, and the financial integration of acquired businesses. For someone who wants to be close to the action, combining strong technical finance capability with commercial thinking and hands-on leadership, there is real scope to make this role your own.

Key focus areas include:

  • Owning the day-to-day finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt collection, and payroll oversight.
  • Leading month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets management, financial and management reporting.
  • Driving the annual budgeting process end-to-end, and managing monthly forecasting and reforecasting.
  • Managing cash flow and proactively identifying emerging risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Partnering with leaders across the business to improve commercial performance, profitability, and operational decision-making.
  • Strengthening finance processes, internal controls, and governance — and identifying opportunities to automate routine work and reduce manual processes.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing members of the finance team, setting high standards for accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing statutory and compliance obligations, including BAS, FBT, payroll tax, workers compensation, and relevant insurance requirements.
  • Supporting merger and acquisition activity across the transaction lifecycle — including financial analysis, due diligence, business case development, and financial integration of acquired businesses.
