Job Description

Drive business performance through financial insights, planning and commercial partnership

As Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and operational leaders across the business to support business performance through financial planning, analysis, forecasting and commercial insights. You will play a key role in helping leaders make informed business decisions by providing meaningful financial analysis, performance reporting and strategic recommendations.

Your responsibilities will include partnering with stakeholders across the organisation, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, identifying opportunities to improve business performance, developing financial models, and driving reporting and process improvement initiatives. You will contribute to sustainable growth through analysis, financial planning and business partnering while supporting the ongoing development of financial systems and reporting capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department leaders to develop and monitor budgets aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and provide insights to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
  • Produce accurate and timely management reports, dashboards and business performance insights.
  • Analyse financial performance, identify risks, and recommend opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Partner with operational leaders to provide financial modelling, commercial analysis and business performance support.
  • Facilitate financial planning discussions and provide constructive challenge to assumptions, ensuring sound commercial outcomes.
  • Support business initiatives and projects through financial modelling, business case development and performance analysis.
  • Leverage automation and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting efficiency and financial insights.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards and KPI reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance through data-driven insights.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted business partner to operational leaders.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
  • CPA or CA Qualified
  • 5-7 years' experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering or Finance Management.

Highly Desirable:

  • Data analysis
  • Software proficiency – advanced skills in excel and financial software ie: ERP.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Power BI an advantage
  • Leadership – managing and coaching a team of accountants
