We're The Good Influence - a social agency for the relationship era.

We grow brands people believe in. Not the loudest brands. The most trusted ones - the ones helping people & planet eat, feel, look, do or live better. We call it The Good Economy, and it's the only place we work.

A few things we're proud of: 15+ industry awards in under five years, Adweek's 3rd Fastest Growing Agency Globally, Best Global Small Social Agency 2026, and - most importantly to us - Campaign's Best Places to Work 2026 The team makes the work, and we work hard to make it a place worth being. With 425% growth last year, we’re building something special, and we need exceptional people to grow with us.

The Role

This is a hands-on, standalone finance role at the heart of a creative agency moving fast. You'll take full ownership of our day-to-day finance function - from management reporting and cash flow to billing and compliance - while partnering closely with our leadership team to support smart, data-driven decision-making.

We're looking for someone who is as excited by the opportunities that come with growth as they are by a well-reconciled balance sheet. If you thrive in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments and want your work to genuinely shape how a growing business operates, this role is for you.

What you'll be doing

Financial Management & Reporting
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting cycle, producing timely and accurate management accounts.

  • Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and board packs; work with the fractional CFO to present findings to the Board.

  • Implement and maintain clear job status and profit reconciliations to help us understand which projects are performing best.

  • Monitor cash flow, debtors, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the business maintains strong financial health and liquidity.

Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations; act as the primary point of contact for client and supplier payment processes.

  • Lead on key client billing processes, work with the founders and client services team to ensure billing remains accurate and on schedule.

  • Manage and file VAT returns on time, and liaise with external accountants, auditors, and the fractional CFO to manage year-end.

  • Continuously improve financial systems, controls, and processes to support the pace of growth.

  • Review and approve job and project estimates; maintain monthly WIP report schedules.

Strategic Finance
  • Partner with senior leadership and client teams to maintain and accurately track our revenue forecast.

  • Monitor financial performance against market trends, bringing insight and context to leadership discussions.

  • Drive efficiencies and identify cost-saving opportunities through rigorous analysis.

  • Identify ways your role can reduce friction and improve how the agency operates day-to-day.

Who we're looking for

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar finance role. Ideally within a creative, design, or agency environment.

  • Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. With the confidence to present findings to senior stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working hands-on. This is a standalone role and you'll own the detail.

  • Xero-fluent. Or comfortable on another cloud-based accounting platform.

  • An excellent communicator. With a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

  • Curious about technology. Open to finding smarter ways of working - AI, automation, finance tooling.
