Finance Manager

Full Time
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Warragul Head Office

Join Disability Connect Australia and become part of the Executive Leadership Team supporting a growing disability and community services organisation.

We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead our payroll and finance operations across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role and a key member of DCA’s Executive Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning, operational decision-making, and organisation-wide improvement initiatives.

About Us

Disability Connect Australia (DCA) is the parent organisation of Disability Connect Victoria (DCV) and Community Connect Victoria (CCV). We provide the corporate backbone that supports the delivery of person-centred disability and community services across Victoria.

About the Role

This role oversees:

  • Payroll compliance and processing
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Financial reporting and audit preparation
  • Finance systems and process improvement
  • Leadership and support of finance administration staff
  • Participation in executive leadership and organisational planning

You’ll be someone who enjoys balancing detail with problem solving and can confidently manage competing priorities in a busy operational environment.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in payroll and finance management
  • Relevant qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance at AQF Level 7 or Higher
  • Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award compliance or understanding of modern award interpretation
  • Advanced skills using Xero, 2CloudNine Payroll, Lumary/Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel or Similar Systems
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with sensitive financial information
  • The ability to contribute positively within an executive leadership environment

You’ll also need:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Orientation Module

Candidates with experience in the NDIS, TAC or WorkSafe Attendant Care industry within a registered NDIS Business are highly encouraged to apply.

In the near future, DCV will be offering overnight Respite services as well as facility based independent living skills programs. These programs will launch alongside our latest social and community access programs later this year.
