Job Description

Experience :

  • 5+ years accounting or finance manager experience

  • Experienced across all key aspects of the finance function:
    • Accounts payable (required)

    • Accounts receivable (required)

    • Balance sheet adjustments for WIP and prepaid expenses (required)

    • Month-end close/accruals/journals (required)

    • Budgeting and forecasting (required)

    • Preparing and analysing management reports (required)

    • Payroll (ideal)

    • Point-of-Sale systems (ideal)

  • Xero accounting software (ideal)

  • Working in an Australian business context (ideal)

Skills :

  • Highly organised and self-motivated

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the function

  • Ability to make changes and diplomatically hold the client team accountable

  • Experience working remotely with Australian-based teams (ideal)

  • Potential to grow into leading other team members in the Philippines (ideal)

Education :

  • Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • CPA/CA qualification - completed or in progress (ideal)
