Our client, a growing distribution company located justnorth ofGreenville, SC, is seeking a Finance & Accounting Managerto lead the finance function and support business growth through financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis.
This role will partner closely with leadership while remaining hands-on with day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead month-end closeprocesses and prepareaccuratefinancial reports and managementaccounts
Oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and maintaingeneralledgerintegrity
Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flowplanning, and varianceanalysis
Developfinancialmodelsto support pricing, investments, and businessdecisions
Strengthenfinancialcontrols, ensurecompliance, and support audittaxprocesses
Partner withleadershiptoprovidefinancialinsights and support growth initiatives
Maintain and improveaccountingsystems and financialprocesses (Sage experiencepreferred)
Support processimprovement initiatives toincreaseefficiency and scalability
Coordinatewith external accountants, auditors, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ yearsof progressive finance and accountingexperience
Experience in a small-to-mid-sizedbusinessenvironmentwith a hands-on approach
Strong understandingoffinancialreporting, budgeting, forecasting, and controls
Ability toindependentlypreparemanagementaccounts and financialanalysis
Experience supportingseniorleadershipwithcommercial and strategicdecisions
Strong attentiontodetail, communicationskills, and abilitytoworkcross-functionally
Experience with ERP/accountingsystems; Sage preferred
CPA, CMA, orsimilarqualificationpreferred but not required
Experience withindistribution, manufacturing, or fast-pacedgrowthenvironmentsis a plus
