Role Overview
The Finance & Accounts Manager will lead the company’s
financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and
effective financial planning. This role drives performance analysis, cost
optimization, and strategic decision‑making while managing the full spectrum of
accounting functions across the group and subsidiaries. Strong leadership,
analytical skills, and attention to detail are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Planning
Prepare
and present monthly financial statements, management reports, and
forecasts.
Develop
and monitor annual budgets and long‑term financial plans.
Conduct
variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
Support
strategic planning through financial modelling and performance reviews.
Accounting & Compliance
Oversee
accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and project ledger
functions.
Ensure
timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Maintain
compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations (Services Tax,
Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Global Minimum Tax), and ensure timely
submission of returns.
Liaise
with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
Implement
and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Business Support & Risk Management
Provide
financial guidance to other departments to support operational decisions.
Identify
cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Assess
financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage
treasury functions, including cash flow, banking facilities, and
relationships with financial institutions.
Prepare
quarterly reports for group consolidation.
Oversee
finance and accounts for subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Handle
ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the company.
Requirements
Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
At
least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Strong
knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and financial software;
familiarity with XERO is an advantage.
Excellent
analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Proven
leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong
communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial
information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
Effective
time management and adaptability in handling multi‑functional tasks.
High
integrity and ethical standards in managing financial and tax matters.
