Job Description

Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial management and alignment between local Czech operations and the international group. The role focuses on financial strategy, reporting, intercompany coordination, and ensuring consistency between local accounting and group standards.

This position works closely with the Chief Accountant, who manages day-to-day accounting operations and local compliance, and cooperates closely with the VP Finance and CFO

Financial Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Support group reporting and consolidation (IFRS)

Accounting Oversight & Compliance

  • Oversee financials and ensure alignment between CZ GAAP and group standards
  • Supervise statutory reporting, VAT, and audits (via Chief Accountant)

Cash Flow & Working Capital

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital (AR, AP, inventory)
  • Provide visibility on cash and support financial decision-making

Operational Finance (Production & Inventory)

  • Oversee inventory valuation, turnover, and risk (e.g. obsolescence)
  • Monitor and optimize production costs (materials, labour, overhead)
  • Partner with operations on cost efficiency and financial visibility

Procurement & Cost Efficiency

  • Review procurement processes and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Support evaluation of suppliers, pricing, and commercial terms

Intercompany & Group Finance

  • Ensure intercompany transactions, balances, and documentation are correct

Process Improvement

  • Improve financial processes, reporting, and controls
  • Drive standardization and efficiency across finance

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in finance (manufacturing / tech environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of CZ GAAP and good understanding of IFRS
  • Experience with reporting, budgeting, and financial processes
  • Experience with intercompany and group reporting
  • Strong analytical and business mindset
  • Experience with operational finance (inventory, production, cost control)
  • Understanding of procurement and cost structures
  • Ability to work across finance, operations, and management
  • Fluent English
