Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for

Lead Japan finance team including:

• Manufacturing site in Kozuki, Japan
• Technical research lab in Kobe, Japan
• Commercial teams in Tokyo
• Provide Finance leadership for business
• Develop Controllership infrastructure
• Develop and implement operating metrics
• Develop FP&A infrastructure… take leadership role in preparation and delivery of quarterly estimates, projections, and business analysis

Successfully integrate Japan finance:

• Standard financial reporting and metrics
• Drive Commercial teams to hit growth targets
• VCP focus in mfg plant

Provide Controllership for Momentive Technologies in Japan

• Manage accounting services
• Active participant in Japan finance councils
• Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and tax

Qualifications / Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business
• 8+ years progressive financial experience
• Excellent English skills
• Knowledge of Japan and US GAAP

• Knowledge and experience of ERP
• Familiarity with global finance issues
• 10-20% travel required
