Position: Finance Manager

Reports to: Financial Controller

Location: Samut Prakan province, Thailand

Objective

Establish and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management. Ensure compliance with corporate internal control procedures. Evaluate unit operating results in terms of cost efficiency, budget adherence, and performance trends. Oversee the maintenance of fiscal records and the preparation of both management reports and local statutory financial statements. Ensure timely and accurate local tax filings in compliance with local tax regulations.

• Responsible for evaluating the accounting department and supervision over internal auditing cost accounting and budgetary controls
• Develops, analyzes and interprets statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against the budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness
• Service as a power user knowing the details and mechanics of the financial systems
• Directs internal controls in the financial reporting activities and management
• Ensure to support all activities surrounding the annual audit performed by outside auditors
• Manages the general ledger activity and allocates between various corporate entities
• Ensures local statutory financial reports based on Thailand GAAP and Internal management book based on US GAAP
• Ensures prompt monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing according to Thailand tax law

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accountancy, Finance or its equivalent
• International Accounting Standard experience is desired
• At least 10 years working experience and 5 years finance management experience in multinational firms and/or accounting of manufacturing processes. Experience in Audit company will be a plus
• Exposure to controlling, consulting functions and planning activities
• Numerically strong and comfortable with high-technology PC work environment; ERP experience
• Mature personality with a strong degree of ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Pro-active, independent and a quick learner
• Excellent analytical and good conceptual skills
• Good in English, could speak in Chinese will be a plus
