About the Job

The Allianz Finance Incubator, hosted within Allianz Services Spain in Madrid office, is a strategic initiative designed to identify, develop, and nurture high potential finance talent. The program provides exposure to Group level topics, advanced analytics, and strategic finance activities, forming a strong talent pool for future expert and leadership roles within Allianz Group.

The professionals will be part of the Financial Business Services (FBS) Global Service Line, working in close collaboration with Group Finance, Group Risk, Group Actuarial, Group Accounting and Reporting, Group Treasury and Corporate Finance and multiple Allianz Operating Entities to ensure consistent execution of finance and risk processes, reliable insights, and adherence to Group wide standards and policies. As part of this journey, we will provide a unique opportunity for talents to complete a part-time MBA at IE University (Instituto de Empresa) in Madrid, fully covered by Allianz.

The Allianz Finance Incubator (AFI) is a development program, intended to help talents accelerate on their leadership journey and after 3-5 years rotate to other leadership roles within the Operating Entities of Allianz, subject to successful completion of the AFI.

There will be several waves of the program. The first wave will start during Q3 2026; the exact start date will be aligned with the selected program participants. If you are interested, please submit your application online by the end of May, including your most recent CV and a compelling cover letter. After submitting your application, you will be invited to upload a short video explaining how participating in this program aligns with your future career goals. The recruitment process will involve a case study assessment and multiple interview rounds with key stakeholders.

What you do

  • Oversee and coordinate the execution of stakeholder requests, ensuring the team delivers all assigned tasks efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Orchestrate and guide cross-functional and international teams, supporting their growth through structured development plans within the Incubator program.
  • Perform and lead financial analysis to ensure data quality, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and drive the preparation and enhancement of financial reporting, including regular and ad hoc insights for stakeholders.
  • Lead and optimize end-to-end global finance processes across entities, improving efficiency, quality, speed, and cost, while defining and implementing delivery models such as automation, outsourcing, and offshoring.
  • Lead global transformation initiatives focused on process harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement, leveraging data analytics, process mining, and AI-driven tools to enhance reporting and finance operations.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and impact, while driving change management initiatives to support the successful adoption of new processes and ways of working.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, governance standards, and alignment with the global finance strategy.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong experience in finance (from ~3 years up to senior leadership experience), ideally in controlling, reporting, process management, or transformation roles with proven ability to lead projects, processes, or teams in complex, international environments.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, systems, and regulations (e.g., IFRS, reporting standards).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills. Strong leadership potential or experience, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • High level of stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders. Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across functions and cultures.
  • Proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented approach, with interest in digitalization, data, and AI.
  • Excellent English level
