Finance Intern (Summer)

We are looking for a Finance Intern to be part of an exciting growth-focused company. Details:

• Participate in a special project to streamline and automate current finance processes or financial reports with AI

• AR/Collections

• Daily cash receipt posting in GP (under review controls) 

• Customer reminder emails and collection note updates

• Basic data preparation for AR meetings

• Business Operations

• License (invoice) audits in GPagainstProlicdates

• Assist with contract processing and maintaining list

• Analyze trends, variances and key financial operating KPIs

• Assist with data validation, reconciliation and documentation

• Contribute to current initiatives, including standardization of metrics and reporting

• Ad hoc requests as required

Requirements:

The successful individual will have the following experience, education, and ability to develop these demonstrated skills:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field

• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset

• Interest inprocess standardization, improvementsand financialanalysis

• Exposure toAI,SQL, or analytics tools is an asset

• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$22.50 - CAD$27.50 per hour.
