Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Intern to join our ASEAN Finance team from January 2027. Gain hands-on exposure to financial operations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives in a dynamic regional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support process improvement initiatives using Allianz approved AI and automation tools to streamline manual tasks such as reconciliations and reporting
• Develop dashboards and user guides that help the finance team adopt new tools and processes
• Support the Senior Accountant with month-end closing, reconciliations and month-end reports
• Assist in reviewing staff expense claims and performing monthly checks
• Assist in preparing GST returns and following up outstanding AR/AP items with shared services
• Undertake ad hoc assignments as and when required

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

• Pursing a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or a related field
• Able to commit 6 months or longer ▪ Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end closing
• Strong Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or AI tools is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Curious and proactive, with an interest in using technology to improve finance processes
