Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The Finance Intern will have several opportunities for growth, including:

  • Learning to interpret multi-layer client contracts in support of client portfolio along with analyzing and reporting results.
  • Create and audit monthly transaction histories based on period performance and individual client contracts.
  • Assist with monthly closing activities to ensure timely reporting to Executive Management.
  • Contribute to company financial planning, preparation and analysis of revenue and expense budgets, financial models and forecasts.
  • Support preparation of consolidated financial statements, as well as management and departmental reports.
  • Participate with Senior and Executive Management on Special Projects to critically assess operational and financial data for changes in workflow.
  • Provide thoughtful and progressive collaboration to bring fresh views for Finance team growth.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Highly computer literate – Microsoft Suite with Advanced Excel is required, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Power BI, Tableau, SQL experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with less structure than larger organizations requiring a highly entrepreneurial mindset and excellent time management skills.
  • Planning and organization skills with ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Strategic thinker, decision maker and risk taker who is passionate about their work; smart / resourceful / innovative and an absolute team player.
  • Supply chain, warehouse distribution and/or logistics knowledge very desirable.
