About Position

We are looking for three (3) enthusiastic interns to support our Global Finance Team across multiple units, including Budgeting & Reporting, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), and Risk & Compliance

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge through rotational assignments in each unit. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and learn the inner workings of global finance operations in a dynamic, mission-driven organization.

The successful candidate will:

  • Supporting Budgeting Team in collaborating with Business Development and Partnership (BDP) in building costing for project proposals.
  • Support Budgeting Team in annual budget and forecast process, preparation of reports and other
  • ad-hoc analysis.
  • Support Budgeting Team in timesheet and personnel cost allocation related.
  • Support AP Accountant in invoice registration, payment and manage AP Mailbox to resolve issue.
  • Perform bank reconciliation.
  • Follow up with procurement to clear any issues in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
  • Support GL team on monthly journal posting and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Support in asset tagging and asset sighting process.
  • Develop and maintain an online filing on SharePoint assessable to key stakeholders.
  • Any ad-hoc assignments required to support Global Finance Team.

Requirements

This opportunity will be suitable for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:

  • In the midst of pursuing a degree or other relevant professional (ACCA/CIMA etc.) qualification.
  • Teamwork – Demonstrate experience working collaboratively across teams in a cross-functional, matrixed work environment.
  • Good communication skills, particularly written English.
  • Ability to manage relationships and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with excellent attention to details.

Desirable Skills

  • Have actual working experience with knowledge of ERP system.

Location and Duration

The successful interns will be based at WorldFish Headquarters in Penang, Malaysia The internship is scheduled to commence in August 2026 and will run for a duration of up to 5½ months.
