Fincantieri Marine Group is hiring for a Finance Intern in the Finance Department at our Green Bay Corporate Office location.

The Finance Intern is responsible for providing accounting, reporting and analytical support. The Finance Intern works directly with management on a broad spectrum of process improvement/cost savings initiatives as well as budgeting and forecasting issues.

Domestic travel may be required.

Essential Functions

• Support analysis of basic financial data and key performance indicators to build understanding of business operations and decision-making
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and contribute to quality and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate information clearly through multiple formats (written, verbal, and presentations) to support team and stakeholder understanding
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
• Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
• Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
• Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent and enrolled in a university or college with a goal of achieving a Finance degree

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing job duties, the employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally stand or walk; use hands and arms to grasp, reach and type; stoop or kneel; and speak or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The position is primarily performed in a quiet, climate-controlled environment with minimal exposure to moving equipment, elements, or risk of injury. When entering the shipyard, there may be exposure to moving equipment, elements, or risk of injury.
