Job Description

This is a hybrid position based at our corporate office located in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday.

This role requires a high degree of ownership, initiative, and accountability. The Finance Integration Program Manager is expected to independently drive project momentum, maintain accurate project documentation, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure tasks are completed and verified. Success in this role requires both project coordination and hands-on execution, with the ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and support integration activities as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships across finance functional areas and key business partners.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute finance integration plans for acquisitions, joint ventures, and de novo facilities.
  • Independently drive assigned integration activities to completion through active follow-up, issue resolution, verification of deliverables, and direct participation in execution activities as needed to support overall project success.
  • Coordinate activities upon transaction close to support timely integration of new entities into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate project trackers, timelines, Gantt charts, Smartsheets, documentation, and status reports, ensuring information is updated regularly based on project meetings, stakeholder communications, and project milestones.
  • Lead finance integration status meetings and provide clear visibility into project progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, outstanding action items, and next steps.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for transactions, correspondence, integration activities, and project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Revenue Cycle, and other departments to support integration objectives and project deliverables.
  • Verify completion of project deliverables and maintain accountability for ensuring open items are fully resolved before being marked complete.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of financial systems, procedures, and integration processes.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, project management, integration management, M&A integration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with acquisition onboarding, accounting conversions, opening balance sheet activities, or finance integration activities preferred.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Healthcare, hospital, ASC, physician practice, or joint venture experience highly preferred.

  • Strong follow-through and accountability in managing action items across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Ability to anticipate next steps, identify potential obstacles, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets, Smartsheet, and accounting systems.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance project coordination responsibilities with hands-on execution while maintaining ownership of project outcomes.
