GBS is an organization that provide back office and transactional service for multiple departments of the CMA CGM group. The finance and accounting function is spread across the geography with centers in Costa Rica , Tallin , China , Lebanon, Manila, Bulgaria, Portugal along with India, being the primary Hub. We also have portion of Finance delivered by Third Party service providers
FA& Logistics Delivery head is responsible to head the F&A Logistics operations managed in GBS India handled by both inhouse as well by Third Party. The person will also act as a Global F&A owner for the Logistics business delivered across other locations.

PURPOSE
The F&A Logistic Delivery Head will ensure that the GBS Finance And accounting Team is organized, trained, equipped and motivated to deliver service as per agreed TAT and quality levels. He is building and maintaining relationships with HO Finance Function owners to ensure alignment with Business. He is the key contact with all Stakeholders for regions in scope and Head office, coordinating with the Business development head.
He is leading and animating a team of seasoned managers to ensure delivery and continuous improvements with a large experience, and knowledge on their process scope. prioritizing tasks and managing resources to achieve product goals in a timely and efficient manner through utilization of metrics and data-driven decision, as well as promote Transformation, along with standardization and compliance, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage team all F&A Streams per (O2C/P2P/RTR)
Ensure staffing at the agreed level for each activity.
Manage within industry level of attrition without impact of delivery.
Develop skills and talent to permit new added value task transitions.

Process /Projects:
Guarantee quality and timelines of monthly financial closing for each entity under scope
Drive Process/Optimization and Automation through Continuous Improvements
Identifying opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation to enhance service quality and reduce costs. Opportunities should be prioritized to improve the Customer Experience and address the Business pain points.
Standardization and Automation – Promote RPA’s plans.
Build the business case for improvements and get the approval from Function Owners
Develop and maintain transversal activities:

Manage within set Productivity target, with continuous review and enhancement.

Build and maintain BCP plan for all transferred process.
Ensure Process Excellence through building and propagating best Practice and making it standard.
Continuously assess risk of Fraud to reduce and eliminate them.
Arbitrate issues with stakeholders and propose solutions matching core and local requirements.
Innovation and Technology: Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and enhance service capabilities, with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence solutions.
