We are looking for a Finance Executive – Capital Management to support capital management activities, ensure compliance with the Fixed Asset Management Control Framework, and contribute to efficient and accurate financial operations.

Make an Impact by:

1. WIP Monitoring & Capitalisation

• Conduct regular reviews of Work in Progress (WIP) balances and prepare reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to verify balances, confirm asset readiness, and ensure accurate project status
• Track required documentation to support timely capitalisation of completed assets
• Prepare WIP ageing analysis and highlight delays with supporting insights

2. Capital Management & Policy Compliance

• Support compliance with capital management policies and internal control frameworks
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with policies
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on capital management processes
• Support development and updating of training and reference materials

3. Month-End Close & Reporting

• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
• Prepare and distribute capitalisation and WIP-related reports
• Assist in management reporting on capital expenditure and performance
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails

4. Process Improvement & Controls

• Support implementation of process improvements and control enhancements
• Maintain documentation such as SOPs, RACI, and risk control matrices
• Participate in control testing and validation activities
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency

5. Finance Transformation & Systems Support

• Support ERP system initiatives (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or similar systems), including testing and documentation
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and process design activities
• Assist in developing system documentation and user guides
• Support transition of processes to new systems and platforms

Skills for Success

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting or related roles
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) completed or in progress is an advantage
• Experience in capital accounting, fixed assets, or project accounting is advantageous
• Exposure to large or complex organisations or industries is a plus
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting
• Ability to collaborate with teams and contribute to process or system improvements
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or similar platforms)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
• Ability to support system enhancements and process improvements
