Job Objective

Essential Job Tasks

Areas of Responsibility

• Manage and maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices, credit notes, and billing adjustments.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure accurate posting of payments received through various channels.
• Coordinate with corporate clients, travel agents, event organizers, and other debtors regarding account settlements.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation and records in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Monitor credit limits and ensure compliance with established credit policies.

Required Qualifications

Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or a professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial management systems.
• Experience in hotel accounting systems will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism.
