About the client:

A reputed and long-established organization among the top five tea exporters in Sri Lanka, recognized for its commitment to delivering premium Ceylon Tea to global markets. The company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join its finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with state and local tax regulations while minimizing tax liability and maximizing after-tax profits.
• Manage tax audits and handle all related correspondence.
• Prepare and submit tax payments and returns via the RAMIS system within stipulated deadlines.
• Estimate and reconcile annual tax returns and maintain accurate tax databases.
• Negotiate with tax authorities and manage all tax-related matters, including tax provision schedules.
• Recommend effective tax strategies that align with overall business goals.

Requirements:

• Partly or fully qualified in ICASL, CMA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity, with the ability to work independently.
• Sound knowledge of financial principles and export business operations.
• High proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel; strong working knowledge of the RAMIS system is essential.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
