Job Description

Finance Executive at Homey

Homey is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Finance Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with financial policies and procedures. You will work closely with the finance team to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct financial analysis and report variances to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors for financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the commercial sector in a finance/accounting-related role.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Part-qualified / Fully qualified / Academic qualification in Finance and Accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, or MYOB
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
