AXS is thrilled to be expanding its operations in our Tokyo office. This move comes as our company continues to grow its global footprint. In Japan, AXS Tickets functions as the operating company, while AXS Japan focuses on development and corporate functions.
The Finance Director will lead and develop a small team based in Tokyo and will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the core finance function. Responsible for all accounting processes and systems ranging from technical accounting, cash flow management, client settlements, financial reporting, payroll, and budgets. You will assume responsibility for AXS Japan finance and work closely with the Managing Director advising on strategy and expansion. You will have a unique blend of capabilities. You will be as comfortable leading and developing a growing team who can power and support our expanding business as you are managing the core, day-to-day finance function and advising on strategy. You will love working at pace and will quickly get to the heart of an issue, propose and deliver an appropriate solution. You will know the importance of meeting deadlines, have a meticulous eye for detail and recognize when to jump in and get your hands dirty. You will be a credible business partner and a great communicator - supporting and challenging the business simultaneously. You will thrive working as part of a passionate, busy team who love what they do.
