Job Description
Roam are looking to add a new leadership role for the Finance team. Based at the Roam headquarters in Crawley, West Sussex.

Duties and responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate financial records for an infrastructure business and ensuring compliance with accounting standards (including recent changes to lease accounting)
- Preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis to support decision-making up to board level
- Lead a successful audit to a close 4 months post year end (including cashflow, tax, going concern and fixed asset impairment)
- Debt compliance obligations including modelling and drawdown certifications
- Collaborating with finance transformation work and ERP system development to automate and improve manual processes
- Managing cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Lead energy procurement for our fleet of assets with their own meter supply
- Overseeing accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
Skills and experience
- Experience in debt financed energy infrastructure and associated contracts
- Experience leading audits to successful and timely close
- Confident in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting legislation such as UK FRS, VAT, payroll, and Corporation tax
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- Qualified Accountant, preferably ACA or ACCA with Big 4 background
- Nice to have - holding experience using NetSuite or similar
Additional Information
- Hours of work are 8:30 – 17:00 Monday – Friday
- Salary ~£100,000 plus bonus
- This role is principally office based, with some flexibility available after probation completion
