Job Description

The trainee will support the Finance Closing Solution Senior Manager in the implementation of closing solutions and initiatives aimed at improving financial closing processes. Acting in a support capacity, the role includes assisting with project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and solution testing.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager for Finance Closing Solutions, the trainee will assist in:

  • Supporting the development and testing of solutions to optimize financial closing processes
  • Participating in project coordination activities, ensuring milestones and deliverables are tracked and met.
  • Preparing documentation and presentation materials for steering committees and project meetings.
  • Contributing to the definition and consistency of business requirements and user stories.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting key indicators to stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with finance and IT teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a trainee with:

  • Initial experience or strong interest in contributing to finance transformation projects, ideally involving ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
  • Familiarity with financial and operational data, with the ability to analyze and synthesize meaningful insights.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
