Due to the growth of our operations, Siemens Global Business Services is looking for Finance Data Analyst (f/m/d) This role supports Sales and Finance by analyzing business performance, developing reporting and forecasting solutions and participation in the digital transformation journey in one of our businesses.

You'll create impact by:

  • Partnering with Sales and Finance teams to understand business drivers, renewal forecasts and performance trends
  • Designing and continuously improving forecasting processes and reporting methodologies
  • Building and maintaining data models, dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
  • Analyzing and consolidating data from multiple sources to support business and financial decision-making
  • Developing proof-of-concepts and analytical solutions to address business challenges and improve processes
  • Preparation and delivery business reviews, executive reports and presentation materials for management
  • Translating complex data into actionable insights and compelling business narratives
  • Ensuring data accuracy, meeting deadlines and driving initiatives with a strong ownership mindset
Your defining qualities:
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and business analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills (including external data connections, Pivot Tables and data analysis techniques
  • Experience in developing Power BI dashboards and data visualizations
  • Good knowledge of reporting/analytics tools
  • Experience in finance analytics, forecasting, performance management or business intelligence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
  • High attention to detail, accountability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Sales Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or Business Controlling
  • Knowledge of software business models, subscription/renewal business and forecasting processes
  • Understanding of IFRS 15 and Revenue Recognition principles
  • Experience with process automation, scripting or programming
  • Background in the financial services sector
