Due to the growth of our operations, Siemens Global Business Services is looking for Finance Data Analyst (f/m/d) This role supports Sales and Finance by analyzing business performance, developing reporting and forecasting solutions and participation in the digital transformation journey in one of our businesses.
- Partnering with Sales and Finance teams to understand business drivers, renewal forecasts and performance trends
- Designing and continuously improving forecasting processes and reporting methodologies
- Building and maintaining data models, dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
- Analyzing and consolidating data from multiple sources to support business and financial decision-making
- Developing proof-of-concepts and analytical solutions to address business challenges and improve processes
- Preparation and delivery business reviews, executive reports and presentation materials for management
- Translating complex data into actionable insights and compelling business narratives
- Ensuring data accuracy, meeting deadlines and driving initiatives with a strong ownership mindset
Your defining qualities:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and business analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (including external data connections, Pivot Tables and data analysis techniques
- Experience in developing Power BI dashboards and data visualizations
- Good knowledge of reporting/analytics tools
- Experience in finance analytics, forecasting, performance management or business intelligence
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- High attention to detail, accountability and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Experience in Sales Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or Business Controlling
- Knowledge of software business models, subscription/renewal business and forecasting processes
- Understanding of IFRS 15 and Revenue Recognition principles
- Experience with process automation, scripting or programming
- Background in the financial services sector
