Dayforce’s FP&A function is building a modern, AI-first analytics capability from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to help design and scale a best-in-class data and automation function, rather than inherit a legacy system. As demand for data, reporting, and automation across Finance continues to grow, this role will play a critical part in expanding capability the right way. You’ll have access to leading tools such as Github Copilot, Codex, Power BI and other such AI technologies, along with the autonomy to identify opportunities and build impactful solutions. If you are motivated to automate manual processes and drive meaningful change, this role offers the platform to do it.
What you’ll get to do
• Manage and scale Power BI reporting across FP&A, including Monthly Business Review (MBR), FTE tracking, subscription reporting, and cash flow dashboards.
• Develop new dashboards and reporting solutions as Finance data needs evolve
• Serve as the go-to resource for data questions, reporting enhancements, and ad-hoc analysis
• Design and build AI-driven tools and automation using Python and modern AI technologies
• Identify manual Finance processes and implement scalable automation solutions
• Lead projects end-to-end, managing timelines, stakeholders, and delivery
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and external partners on data and AI initiatives

Skills and experience we value
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years Strong proficiency in Python with the ability to build solutions, not just analyze code
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
• Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex, or similar technologies
• Demonstrated track record of self-initiated work, you identify gaps, build the solution, and tell people about it after
• Comfortable defining your own priorities in the absence of a detailed brief
• Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions

• Experience building automation solutions within Finance or Shared Services environments
• Understanding of financial concepts and data, with an interest in how metrics drive decisions
• Exposure to AI agent workflows or building tools leveraging LLMs
• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Strong problem-solving mindset focused on root cause analysis
• Rapid learner who gets up to speed on new tools, platforms, and domains quickly and without hand-holding
