The FinanceControllermanages and is responsible for the performance of the finance team supporting the relevant Hub Regional Financial Controller (Regional FC) for their Business Unit and Markets by delivering right first-time reporting and analysis which is insightful, fast and supports the business to develop accurate plans in a strong controls and assurance environment.
The role helps to deliver the Finance vision of a “world class finance function recognised by industry, the profession and our people” which underpins theHaleonvision.
Key responsibilities
Responsible for the reporting of financial results for their market and business unit with commentary including income, balance sheet and cash flow which isaccurate, complete and:
Fully compliant with all relevant accounting standards, current bestpracticeand any other regulations
Consistently applies accounting policies which areappropriate tothe current business environment.
Tightly controls transaction activity thatoperatesin line with global processes and incorporates best practice financial controls.
Delivers insight to the Division in key areas of risk, growth and performance making recommendations for continuous improvements and remedial action asrequired
Signoff ofstatutory results with in-market FD when supporting a senior FD. This will also require co-ordination of activities across the other business units (ieCx& GMS)
Consolidation,analysisand interpretation of Divisional results and ensures that there are no surprises
Review financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans
Owns the Market balance sheets including approval of reconciliations
Review of accounting papers
Supports andis responsible forthe inputs to the external and internal financial audits for theirDivision
Co-ordinate the month end review process, OE reporting requirements,facilitatingmonth end meetings, co-ordinating with in-country finance board,maintainingrisk register & co-ordinating with all external partners
Comparing monthly results & variance analysis
Owns the Market balance sheets including approval of reconciliations
