This position provides key financial support to the Finance Controller II for three legal entities across multiple manufacturing sites in Poland. The role is responsible for accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with US Corporate requirements, local statutory regulations, SOX, and internal controls. It oversees financial statements, tax obligations, statutory reporting, VAT processes, and payroll coordination. The role acts as a business partner across finance functions, supports integration and improvement projects, and provides local statutory expertise for business restructuring and transfer pricing matters. It also ensures effective financial operations by monitoring KPIs related to cash flow, vendor payments, and receivables.
Key support role to Finance Controller II for 3 legal entities across multiple manufacturing sites and facilities in Poland.
Perform month-end, quarter end and year end closes in line with US Corporate and local statutory guidelines and due dates.
Ensure timely and accuracy of financial results including preparation and data file to be submitted to US Corporate.
Perform Financial statement reviews, oversight and reporting for the applicable legal entities
Manage all Corporate & Statutory Tax obligations as well as Statutory Annual Reporting in cooperation with external auditors and advisors. Oversee VAT tax reporting in conjunction with Financial Shared Service team.
Coordinate with HR, external payroll providers, and treasury to ensure correct and timely payrolls and entries into financial accounting.
Ensure compliance with local fiscal obligations as well as SOX and Internal Controls.
Proactively inform the EMEAI Controller and management on financial and business results, relevant activities in finance/accounting, and any risks or issues to be addressed.
Support directly the EMEAI Controller with integration tasks, finance projects and ad hoc analysis as required to improve the status quo.
Business partner with other finance workstreams (Global Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, FP&A) and global accounting and tax departments.
Provide local statutory expertise and support for decision making relating to business restructure and transfer pricing changes.
Provide input and support for work instructions, controls as well as hands-on support for all accounting functions in accordance with SW Corporate policies and local statutory guidelines.
Monitor KPIs and Service level agreements relating to timely vendor payments and receivables collections to ensure optimal cash flow and credit standing in the business community.
