Triveris Group (Damia · We Are META · Landing Jobs) · Remote / flexible
We are not just looking for someone who knows the numbers. We are looking for someone who knows what they mean.
The organisation
triveris is the group behind three companies in talent and technology: Damia (tech recruitment agency), We Are META (IT Staffing), and Landing.Jobs (a marketplace for pre-vetted tech talent).
Finance & Legal is a corporate team that works across all three, organised by specialisation rather than by company. It owns consolidation, reporting, and management control for the group.
The role
Three businesses, one financial view. That is the challenge:
Joining a Finance & Legal team organised by specialisation rather than by company and gaining a group-level view that is rare in a controlling role. You get group-level visibility, which is rare in a controlling role at this level. You´ll work alongside the Head of Finance & Legal and the rest of the team on closing, reporting and management control processes, with real room to question, improve and leave your mark.
The team already uses AI tools in analysis and reporting; if you´re interested not only in using these tools but in shaping how they fit into the financial processes of a three-company group, there is ground to explore.
What you will do
Prepare and analyse monthly management reporting (P&L) by business unit
Support the monthly and annual close, working with accounting and the certified accountant
Analyse budget-to-actual variances, flagging risks and opportunities
Use AI tools in data analysis, variance detection and reporting preparation, always with critical validation of the outputs
Identify opportunities for automation and AI in the close, reporting and control workflows, and take an active part in implementing them
Monitor and control group cash flow, including treasury forecasting
Control and process payments to suppliers and other entities
Prepare information for stakeholder and shareholder reporting
Financial planning and support in preparing budgets
Support tax and financial compliance topics, working with external partners
Contribute to improvement projects on financial processes and systems ([ERP in use])
You will fit if
You want to understand the "why" behind each number, not just the "how much"
You handle ambiguity well and like building processes, not only following them
You already use AI in your work and can tell a useful output from one that is plausible but wrong
You prefer autonomy and real ownership over constant supervision
You see Excel as a decision-making tool, not a spreadsheet
You probably will not fit if
You need fully defined, fixed processes before you start
You would rather sit inside a single company with no group view
You think AI in finance is hype, or that your work is too sensitive to involve it
You are looking for a predictable close-and-report routine with no projects attached
Profile
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
4 to 8 years in controlling, reporting, budgeting, or accounting, ideally in a multi-company or group setting
Advanced Excel (required)
Portuguese accounting and tax knowledge (SNC)
Hands-on experience with AI tools applied to analysis and reporting
Native or equivalent Portuguese and Fluent English (mandatory)
Nice to have: a relevant professional certification (OCC, CIMA or similar), Power Query, ERP experience (Primavera, Sage or equivalent), French
How you work
Genuine ownership of the numbers you deliver
Curiosity to question existing processes and propose better ways of running them
Able to explain complex financial topics simply to people outside finance
Rigorous and organised, without losing the ability to adapt
What we offer
Salary range: € 23 800 to € 28 200 gross per year, plus meal allowance and health insurance
22 days of holiday, plus 4 extra days off: Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Carnival and your birthday
