Finance Business Partner (m/f/x), Commercial - Central & Southern Europe

Location: Munich

Contract: Permanent contract

The Opportunity

As Manager, Commercial Finance Business Partner, Central & Southern Europe, you will join the Commercial Finance Business Partnering team supporting CSL Seqirus operations across Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, and Greece. Working closely with the regional Finance Business Partner Lead, you will provide financial guidance to General Managers and Commercial Leadership teams across the region.

This is a highly visible role that combines strategic business partnering with financial planning and analysis, helping commercial leaders make informed decisions that drive sustainable growth and profitability. You will influence business strategy through financial insights, forecasting, modelling, performance analysis, and decision support while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.

The Role

• Act as a trusted financial advisor to General Managers and Commercial leaders across Central & Southern Europe.
• Support the development of business strategies and ensure financial plans align with commercial objectives and organizational priorities.
• Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the region.
• Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Conduct financial modelling, market analysis, competitor analysis, and business performance assessments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Commercial leaders on pricing strategies, investments, resource allocation, and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance against targets and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Prepare analyses supporting month-end activities, accruals, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
• Support internal controls, compliance with company policies, and external audit processes.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, and International leadership teams.
• Contribute to a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or related disciplines.
• Previous experience in a business-facing commercial finance role, ideally within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biotechnology industry.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial modelling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and key stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP, Power BI, SAP BPC, SAC, BW/BI, or similar financial systems. Experience with Model N is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, matrix environment.

Reporting Line

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Lead, Central & Southern Europe, this role partners closely with General Managers and Commercial Leadership teams across Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, and Greece. Limited regional travel is required.
