Job Description

Join us as Finance Business Partner – Germany & the Netherlands to own financial performance across two of Qonto's most strategically distinct markets. You'll drive weekly and monthly performance monitoring, lead Budget 2027 planning, and act as the primary financial partner to our country leadership teams in Germany and the Netherlands — as Qonto makes its transition to full banking services. You'll work under the guidance of Nathalie Neff, embedded in Berlin and supported by our Strategic Finance team in Paris.

➡️ What you'll do

  • Own Germany & Netherlands performance monitoring end-to-end: Run the weekly Monday market review and monthly performance decks, delivering clear variance analysis and actionable insights to country leadership — on time, every time.
  • Lead Budget 2027 and forecast cycles from day one: Structure assumptions, challenge allocations, and keep both market teams aligned throughout the full planning cycle.
  • Partner with country leadership to turn strategy into execution: Work alongside Germany's and the Netherlands' country managers to translate market vision into financial frameworks, adapting your approach to a mature market and an emerging one simultaneously.
  • Support Qonto's transition to full banking services: Help enrich financial indicators as Qonto expands its product range, and bring country teams up to speed on new performance dimensions and regulatory requirements.
  • Build AI-powered FP&A workflows: Automate recurring analyses, develop autonomous agents for dashboards and anomaly detection, and continuously raise the productivity bar across your processes.

➡️ What we're looking for

  • Proven FP&A ownership: You've run end-to-end finance business partnering — performance management, forecasting, modeling, budget cycles — with a market or business unit as your perimeter.
  • Confident senior stakeholder partner: You've worked alongside Country Manager or VP-level stakeholders, challenged their assumptions constructively, and kept trust intact even when the numbers weren't what they wanted to hear.
  • Fintech or SaaS background: You've built your FP&A skills in a fast-scaling, data-driven environment where finance sits close to business operations.
  • Direct feedback by default: You give clear, honest feedback — upward and sideways — and you don't soften it until it loses its point.
  • AI in your workflow today: You already use AI to streamline recurring analysis, and you're ready to go further — building agents, automating reporting, and pushing what FP&A can do.

➡️ What we can offer you

  • Two markets, one role — rare strategic scope: Manage a scaled, mature market (Germany, Qonto's #2) and a dynamic emerging one (Netherlands) simultaneously, with frameworks you can transfer between the two.
  • A company mid-transition: Qonto is becoming a full bank — you'll help build the financial governance for that shift from the ground up, not inherit someone else's setup.
  • Real influence, not just reporting: Direct partnership with country leadership means you're in the room where decisions happen — your analysis shapes what gets built and funded.
  • Berlin-based, backed by a strong team: Embedded with the German market, supported by Qonto's Stratfin team in Paris, in a culture that's genuinely AI-native.

➡️ Your future manager

You'll report to Nathalie, our Revenue and Regions FP&A Director. Nathalie started her career at a Big 4 firm before moving into corporate FP&A roles across Business Partnering and Revenue at companies like Criteo, Ubisoft, Solocal, and Activision-Blizzard. She joined Qonto to lead a talented Strategic Finance team - and she’ll support you in developing your scope, give you the keys to master your topics, and back your continuous growth.
